A 36-year-old female patient presented at the hepatology department of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (Chandigarh, India) in January, 2021, with jaundice, pruritis, and multiple episodes of vomiting for the past month. The patient had loss of weight and appetite, with a body-mass index (BMI) of 18·2 kg/m2. No history of fever, melaena, or haematemesis was present. She had a history of taking ovulation induction drugs and oestradiol for primary infertility, for the past 4 years.
